Prices come from our live price list. Extras are added to each server at checkout. The plan we suggest is the smallest one with enough memory.

How we estimate

We use a simple, transparent rule of thumb. All numbers below are our own rough assumptions, not measurements, and real servers can use more or less.

RAM = (base for the game + MB per player x players) x mod factor + 128 MB overhead

Mod factor: none x 1, some x 1.5, heavy x 2.
Plan sizes: up to 1 GB fits SSD Starter, up to 4 GB fits NVMe Lite, up to 8 GB fits NVMe Pro. Above that we suggest contacting us. Above 85% of a plan's RAM is flagged as a tight fit.
Price: each server gets the smallest plan with enough memory, at that game's own price when it is on the plan the game is listed on, otherwise the plan price. Extras (a bigger volume, longer backups, a dedicated IP) are added on top, and NVMe Pro already includes the IP. The yearly price is the sum of each server's yearly price.
Listed plan: a game is never suggested on a smaller plan than the one we list it on, even when the estimate is small.
Not covered: CPU load (SSD Starter has 1 vCPU, NVMe Lite 2, NVMe Pro 4), storage use and world size. Large worlds and big factories can be limited by CPU or disk rather than memory.
