About Valheim hosting
Valheim is a co-operative Viking survival game. A dedicated server keeps your world available when you are offline, so friends can join whenever they like.
Dedicated servers normally need a server password, and the world is saved as files on the server. A few players on a fresh world are light on resources, but memory and CPU use rise with player count and with large bases.
Valheim hosting questions
How many friends can play?
Valheim is built for small co-op groups, and the dedicated server software has its own player limit set by the game. Use the planner to check memory for your group size.
Can I bring my existing world?
Valheim saves worlds as files, so an existing world can usually be copied to a new server. Open a support ticket if you would like help with this.
Which plan should I choose for Valheim?
We list Valheim on SSD Starter, which has 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM. How much you need also depends on players and mods, so try the price estimator for a rough estimate.
Can I change plans later?
