About FiveM hosting

FiveM is a modification framework for Grand Theft Auto V that lets communities run their own multiplayer servers, most often roleplay. A server is a set of resources (scripts, maps and assets) that you choose, so CPU and memory use depend heavily on how many resources you load and how many players join.

Servers are commonly managed with txAdmin, which our listing mentions. You create a server licence key with Cfx.re (the team behind FiveM) during setup, and your players need their own copy of GTA V.

FiveM hosting questions

Do I need a licence key?

FiveM servers use a licence key issued by Cfx.re. You create it yourself with your own Cfx.re account, and OneStack does not supply one. Check Cfx.re's current terms for any requirements.

Can I use txAdmin?

Our listing says FiveM servers are txAdmin ready. If you run into trouble getting it working, open a support ticket.

Which plan should I choose for FiveM?

We list FiveM on NVMe Lite, which has 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM. How much you need also depends on players and mods, so try the price estimator for a rough estimate.

Can I change plans later?

Our features page describes moving to a bigger plan as you grow. To change plans, open a support ticket. See the FAQ for more.
