About Minecraft hosting
A Minecraft server gives you a persistent world for friends or a community. You can run the plain game, add server-side plugins, or load mods and modpacks, and our listing mentions all three.
Memory use grows with player count, view distance, world size and the number of mods, which is why modded servers need much more RAM than vanilla ones. Starting a server also means accepting Mojang's EULA.
Minecraft hosting questions
Which Minecraft versions and server software can I run?
That depends on the plugin or mod setup you want. If you need a specific version or loader, tell us in a ticket before you order and we will say what is possible. We do not publish a fixed list here.
Does Bedrock Edition work?
Our listing is for Minecraft servers with plugins, mods and modpacks, which usually means Java Edition. If you need Bedrock Edition, contact us before you order.
Which plan should I choose for Minecraft?
We list Minecraft on NVMe Lite, which has 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM. How much you need also depends on players and mods, so try the price estimator for a rough estimate.
Can I change plans later?
Our features page describes moving to a bigger plan as you grow. To change plans, open a support ticket. See the FAQ for more.
